Seattle’s Scottish Community celebrates St. Andrew’s Day, Scotland’s National Day, with dance, music and song. Great family entertainment!

An afternoon of music and dancing presenting the talents of:


A Curious Collection
 

A Curious Collection—a talented quartet of musicians playing flute, 2 violas da gamba, guitar and voice specializing in Scottish art and traditional music from early 18 century.  The group is led by flutist Helen Van Mater.

The Northwest Scottish Fiddlers a dynamic group of fiddlers of all ages performing jigs, reels and strathspeys (and also marches and airs) with energy and delight under the direction of Calum MacKinnon.

Piper Jan Begg will also be performing throughout the afternoon.

Bonnie Dundee Dancers—an exciting local dance group featuring solo and social dances from 1740 and on, directed by Elizabeth Miller,
